Bridgeland, a popular master-planned community in Cypress will start building homes again.  It is located between the Grand Parkway and Highway 290 in Northwest Houston.  According to HBJ, the Howard Hughes Corp, parent company of The Woodlands Development Co., said construction will start next month on the last phase of the first section of the development.  This will add more than 400 houses to the community, with prices beginning at $250,000 and up to the millions.  The neighborhood will have a heated lap pool, splash pad, dog park, skateboard park, basketball and tennis courts and a canoe launch.  The community will also have walk and bike trails, lakes and water parks.  Bridgeland already has 2,100 occupied homes and thousands of lots left for development.  This may be the largest master-planned community in Houston when everything is done.
